My background spans national programme leadership, executive coaching, and senior roles in education, where I have led training, development, and coaching for new and experienced leaders. I have supported people at every stage of their leadership journey, helping them grow with clarity, courage, and intention. Today, I support leaders across sectors who want to develop in a way that feels grounded, human, and aligned with their values.
- About Mark -
I am an Executive Coach and Mentor
who believes in the power of courageous and honest conversations to develop leaders.
- My work -
Grounded in the idea that leadership isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about asking better questions, understanding yourself deeply, and acting with intention.
My Coaching Philosophy
Coaching is a space to slow down, think clearly, and reconnect with what matters. It’s a space for honesty — the kind that’s hard to find in busy leadership roles.
My approach is:
- Non-directive — you set the direction; I help you explore it.
- Non-judgemental — you can bring your whole self to the conversation.
- Human and grounded — real conversations about real challenges.
- Courageous — we go to the places that matter, even when they’re uncomfortable.
I am trained at ILM Level 7 in Executive & Senior Level Coaching and in Dare to Lead™ Coaching & Mentoring and I bring a blend of evidence-informed practice, deep listening, and practical insight to every session.
- What I believe -
Leadership is a practice, not a position.
Clarity comes from slowing down, not speeding up.
Courage grows when we use it.
The best leaders are reflective, intentional, and deeply human.
- Beyond coaching -
I’m based in the South West and spend much of my time outdoors — walking, climbing, and exploring the coast paths. These moments of space and perspective shape the way I coach: grounded, reflective, and connected to what matters
